Okay, so it’s not really a thing of beauty. More like a thing of brute force, good speed and great hair. But it’s college football, it’s the Gators and it’s the best.
Sure, Jesus Tebow left for Denver, eight other starters got scooped up in the draft, and about the only names I recognize are Meyer, Pouncey and Trattou, who appears on the verge of assuming Riley Cooper’s mantle of best hair, but something so foreign, exotic and beautiful appeared on the field today: Urban Meyer’s smile. I never knew he had one. And it expressed joy. It was like spotting a unicorn on the field.
It will all probably go straight to hell on October 2, but with the burden of Jesus Tebow and John the Baptist Meyer lifted, and no one worrying about Heismans and national championships, every victory is treated like, well, a victory and not a foregone conclusion. Gator football is fun again!

So eliquently put. Even a Duck fan like myself can respect Gator Football and there amazing hair. Something lacking in the Pacific Northwest. I blame all the rain
Oh, there’s plenty of rain in Gainesville, but Riley, and now Justin, work hard to keep their hair so very pretty and shiny. And I appreciate that. But, yeah, college football is bliss, whatever your college.
